Formal confirmation of an agreed payment plan to clear arrears

Both Parties Must Sign

This letter confirms a payment arrangement agreed between landlord and tenant. Both parties should sign and retain a copy. The arrangement does not waive the landlord's right to serve a Section 8 notice if payments are missed.

Important Conditions

  • You must pay your full monthly rent in addition to the arrears payment — the arrears payment does not replace your rent
  • If any payment under this arrangement is missed or late, this arrangement will be cancelled and I reserve the right to serve a Section 8 notice immediately
  • This arrangement does not waive any of my rights as your landlord
